In My Daughter’s Eyes
All of us have done things in our past that we would like to change. Single mothers are a prime example of this. Most look back and wish they’d done something different to ensure their child had less hardships growing up.
While these children might be unplanned, they are indeed wanted.
I know my daughter was. You see, I was a single mother also. My oldest was the reason I quite drinking the first go around. I shudder to think where I’d be today if I hadn’t stopped when I did. Either in jail or dead.
I heard this song the other day, and it reminded me of how I still feel about her today. She’s a wonderful woman and mother. I know I don’t tell her enough how proud I am of her. I pray she and her sister see the joy they fill in my life.
I hope you enjoy this song and that it reminds your daughter also.
And if you or someone you know needs prayer, please leave a comment below.
