This past week we saw two musicians from the ‘70’s pass away—Mac Davis and Helen Reddy. Their music showed meaning and love.
I was surprised when I’d read an article about Mac Davis. I never realized all the songs he wrote including “In the Ghetto” for Elvis. Here is on of my favorites of his. And remember, ‘Lift your voices to the sky, God loves you when you sing.’
Helen Reddy’s song “I am Woman” became the anthem for the feminist movement. Too bad most young women these days don’t know what it means to be a true feminist. As a female, you can do anything. And woman should support each other, no matter the political agenda. It’s always nice to see it when a woman gets ahead.
