Michael Che, a comedian on Saturday Night Life (SNL) was accused of ageism because of his remarks about a sixty-seven-year-old woman giving birth. I read his jokes, even those NBC refused to allow him to air, and I fell on the floor laughing. So if a fifty-eight-year-old woman is not insulted, why should twenty-somethings be?
Too many people are afraid to show their faith in this politically correct world. We “um” and “ug” when anyone says something against our beliefs. The last thing we want is to offend anyone.
