WHERE’S JESUS?

A child dies. An illness occurs. A loved one walks away. These are just a couple of the devastating occurrences in our lives.

When times are hard, we often ask ourselves, where is Jesus while I’m going through this? Jesus has been right beside you your jesusholdingmanwhole life. Deuteronomy says, The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”

How does God show that He is with us at all times?

When you went to that party and drove home drunk, He kept you safe;

When a car went through a stop sign and you weren’t hit, He went in front of you;

When you turned your back on God, He walked beside you whispering His word in your ear;

When you weren’t sure if you could pass that test, He placed His hand on your shoulder;

When you did a job well done, He patted you on the back;

When you were lonely, He sat beside you and spoke to you;

And when you felt like the world ripped your heart out, He held you in His arms.

These are just some of the ways God shows His love for you. Think back to all the times you’ve heard about a car accident on your route to work. If you should have been in that area at the time, but the baby acted up, that was God keeping you safe.

No matter what you’ve done or where you’ve been, God has been there with you, through the good and the bad. No one loves you Jesus-crossmore. You can’t fathom how wide and deep His love is for you. The best way His love can be measured is from the outstretched arms belonging to His son.

What is the best experience you’ve ever had of knowing God was with you? Please share it with us. We’d love to help you celebrate His gift of love.

    I had a seizure while walking the dog and I was near the fire station. They wanted to take me the hospital. I didn’t want to go because of the last experience I had at that hospital. A lady came in her car.she said she was my neighbor and would drive me home. I don’t remember meeting this woman. The fireman asked me if that was my neighbor and would I like her to drive me home. I did not have a clue who this woman was but I looked at the dog, Sam the bassett hound. He didn’t have a problem with her. I decided if he was ok with her it should be ok. she drove me home and I never saw her again on our many walks together. I have always thought she was a gift.

    1. Veronique,

      I sounds like she was sent from God to watch out for you. And I’ve always thought dogs were a good judge of character.
