Saving the U.S.

A photograph has been released depicting a statue of Satan that will be placed at the Oklahoma state Capitol.  It’s part of that “being fair to all religion political correctness” that has run amuck in this country. Of course, by putting up this Oklahomastatue, you’re in essence saying there is a God. After all, without God, there is no Satan.

We, as a nation, need to ask ourselves this question: How long will God protect a country that has turned so far away from him? In times of strife, we call out to Him, even blaming Him when catastrophe happens. Yet we’re the ones who have worshipped idols and other gods. We in essence say we trust in other things more than God.

Exodus 20:4-5, states, “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me…” Future generations will be punished for what we are allowing to happen in this country.

We shun God, then get angry when he doesn’t protect us. We put up idols to His enemy, then complain when the country doesn’t prosper or when terrible things happen.

How can we expect God to protect our children in school, when He’s no longer allowed in?

How can we expect Christian decisions from our leaders when we continue to elect people who don’t live Christian lives?9-11

How can we expect to be protected from hurricanes, fires, and foreign enemies when we’ve asked God to leave us alone?

How do we expect our children to grow up with morals when we allow them to watch immoral television shows and play immoral video games?

And how do we expect God to listen to our prayers when we only live a Godly life when it’s convenient for us?

When it comes down to blame, we can point the fingers at the liberals all we want. But the blame lays at the feet of Christians.

Christians have kept silent for fear of being deemed intolerant or hurting other’s feelings. What about God’s feelings? Shouldn’t He matter more than the atheist with the loudest voice? It is time Christians reclaim this country. We need to get back to the Christian beliefs of our forefathers. If we don’t stand up crossagainst the stupidity we’ve allowed to occur, there is no way to expect God to stand up for us.

We must get on our knees and pray for God to return to this country. We must live Christian lives. We must not leave Jesus to keep our seats warm in church. He must be with us at all times. And we must elect officials who not only say they are Christian, but that prove it by life service, not lip service.
