On social media this past week, someone posted a picture of the Oklahoma Capital building where a bunch of Muslims were celebrating Oklahoma’s first Muslim Day. (This is the same building with the Satan statue.) Comments turned into a talk on how quickly the Islamic religion has grown in this country.
Religion is very important to people, whether it be Christianity, Hinduism, or Islam. You take away one, people will turn to another. That’s what’s happening in this country. We’ve done our best to remove Christianity, and now Islam is taking a stronghold.
Don’t believe me? Did you know that nearly 80% of mosques have been built in the last 12 years? And according to the US Religious Census released in 2012, Islam is the fastest growing religion in this country, especially among African-Americans.
You can read an article concerning this at http://endoftheamericandream.com/archives/the-fastest-growing-religion-in-america-is-islam.
Matthew 16:18 reads, And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. This country was built on the rock of Jesus, and it has prevailed
through war and storms. However, we are turning away from that rock. Do you think we can survive if we allow other gods to come in and take over? Especially religious zealots who believe it’s okay to kill anyone who opposes them. (I’m not putting all Muslims under this category, but right now this is where the extremists seem to be hiding.)

I’m not saying we should not allow Muslims to build their churches. But we need to make it clear that
this is a Christian country. How do we do that?
- Vote only true Christians into political office. Too often politicians, from both parties, only go to church during election time. You need to be aware of who you are voting for and not worry about the political party.
- Do not watch television programs or movies that have negative connotations toward Christianity. In fact, threaten to boycott sponsors, and mean it.
- Do not tolerate hatred from any religion in this country. If you come to the United States, you must follow our laws and our rules.
- Have less teaching in our schools about Islam, especially if there is not an overabundance of Christianity in the mix.
Most of you might think this is just a rant and that nothing much will become of the Muslim religion in this country. I hope you’re right because the consequences can be terrible. While Christians may not want homosexuals to have marital rights, Muslims don’t want homosexuals to live. And women, don’t expect to have much in the way of fashion choices when you head out the door.
When people are looking for something to believe in, they are more willing to follow those who don’t just talk about their religion, but actually behave as they claim to believe. And the Muslims do that. They attend services regularly, pray several times daily. When was the last time you can say the same?
It’s time for Christians to prove that we are more than just our words. Show love, but also don’t let anyone run over our faith. Our country could depend on it.
If you or someone you know are in need of prayer this week, please let us know. We’d be more than happy to pray for you.
And if this post moved you in some way, please feel free to share it.
Thank you for calling it like it is. It is so tiring to constantly hear the politically correct speech.
