A lot has been said these last couple of weeks about Bruce Jenner. Let me start by saying I’m not
surprised that someone who is so much into publicity would find another way to get it. That being said, I do know there are others who feel the need to go through a sex-change operation.
It’s very sad to think you don’t belong anywhere and that you are “incorrect.” Even more heartbreaking is when family and friends give such awful advice as to have major surgery. They convince you that this surgery will make you happy, but the sad truth is that a lot of people who have sex-change surgery still remain unhappy and troubled. Here’s an interesting article if you’ like to read more on the subject. http://www.wsj.com/articles/paul-mchugh-transgender-surgery-isnt-the-solution-1402615120
Psalm 18:30 states, As for God, his way is perfect: The LORD’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him. Did you get that? GOD DOES NOT MAKE MISTAKES.
If you were born a male, you were meant to be male. If you were born female, you were meant to be female. Don’t allow anyone to tell you otherwise. The confusion you are having is from lack of self-esteem, feeling unloved, and loneliness.
Let me add to what I said earlier. God doesn’t make mistakes, and He loves you. No matter what you’ve done, you are loved. You were put here on this earth for a reason. You might not feel like it, but you were. It’s just a matter of figuring out what that reason is. In order to do that, you must spend time with God. Listen to what He is telling you and follow His word.
No Christian can believe that this type of surgery is a good thing. By stating people should be allowed to have their gender reassigned is saying God made a mistake. God is perfect. He does everything for a reason. That includes making a person a male or a female.

Anytime you’re feeling out of place or you don’t belong, just take a step back and ask yourself if it’s physical, emotional, or psychological. Then ask God to get you through. You are His child, and He will do
anything to keep you from feeling unloved. Just hold your arms out to Him. He’s waiting to hold you.
I pray for anyone who has fallen under the belief they are not the correct gender. It must be a very confusing time for you. But I pray you stop and realize it’s more a mental dilemma than a physical issue. And seek God’s help. He can get you through anything. The last thing you should do is make any decision that could cause you even more pain than what you’re already going through.
If you or someone you know are in need of prayer this week, please let us know. We’d be more than happy to pray for you.
