The End and The Beginning

Again this week, I plan to keep it short. In fact, I want you to participate in this blog.

Does time fly? We are coming to the end of 2016 and the beginning 2017 already. As such, that means we all have goals we set. I thought it would be fun to see what some of your goals are.

Now, I don’t want the normal – lose weight, get out of debt goals. I want something that might be a bit more personal and only-you-type goals. Sometimes when you put them in writing and have others involved, you are more likely to achieve that goal.

My only-you-type goal for this year regarding writing is to release a non-fiction Christian book. I’m a bit nervous about this because it’s not like anything I’ve ever written before. So in 2017,  look for the release of Holding the Hand of a King.

Personally, not professionally, I want to work on my posture. I have a tendency to slouch quite a bit, and it’s starting to affect my back.

You’re next. Post in the comments what your only-you-type goal is. And I pray for everyone’s safety in the upcoming year. And remember Romans 8:37, No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. There is nothing we can’t do through Christ.

Happy New Year.

I want to be all I can be in the Lord’s army !

    1. Great goal. I’m sure God will use you in magnificent ways.

  2. Oh, Kathy, we are on the same page about posture! Look at the photo taken of us at the conference in St. Augustine. I’m slouching like an elderly, osteoporosis-stricken woman. Let’s help each other with that. Not only does good posture make us feel better, it also takes five pounds off instantly LOL.

Good luck with the non-fiction book.

    1. Standing straighter also makes you appear taller. Good luck with you and I’ll slip in a reminder every once in a while.

I plan to attend Emmaus to renew my mind and my spirit to better serve our Lord. A week’s “Girls” vacation with daughter Dawn and Granddaughters Sarah and Steph in the spring. And more exercise for my health and stamina.

    1. Great goals, Darline. I know you will enjoy the vacation, along with Dawn. She needs a break also. Good luck.

  4. Huge goal for this year is to pay off the condo and finally be able to retire by Dec. 31, 2017. Praying my timing falls in line with God’s plan for me.

    1. What a great goal. Good luck. Will be praying for your and God’s will to connect.
