This past week, Florida lost two police officers to another senseless killing. A man walked up to a restaurant window in Trenton, Florida and shot two Gilchrist County Sheriff’s Deputies. Sgt. Noel Ramirez, 30, and Deputy Taylor Lindsey, 25 were killed while getting lunch.
This has gone on long enough. We need to have the backs of our officers, if not in person, then in prayer. Please join me in praying for the safety of our officers.
Dear Lord,
We know you are the God of Gods. And where two or more are gathered in your name, you hear our pleas. Today, we ask that you protect the police officers who take care of us. Protect them not only physically, but emotionally and spiritually as well. This country seems to have turned against them, and they need the protection only you can give them. Protect them from harm and give them the courage needed to do this dangerous duty they have been called to.
And Lord, we lost two officers this past week. Please hold onto their loved ones. Let them know you are there with them, holding them through this trying time.
And please soften the hearts to those who want to do evil and harm these brave men and women.
Thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers. In Jesus name,
Amen.
If you or someone you know is in need of prayer, please let me know. I’ll be happy to pray for the situation.
Amen!
Thank you. The more prayers the better.
Thank you, Kathryn. My son is a police officer, as well as an uncle. If people only knew what they go through every single day on the job. My heart aches for these families. Praying with you.
Thank you, Theresa. I pray for your son and uncle’s safety. – Kathy
